Features, limits, and availability may vary by plan. Current plan details and pricing are shown in the Service, on the pricing page, and/or during checkout.
3. Account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us without undue delay.
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for its legality.
- You may only upload, store, or share content if you have the necessary rights to do so.
- Family trees may contain personal data of third parties. Make sure you have a valid legal basis (e.g., consent or legitimate interest) and comply with applicable data protection laws.
5. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful content; no infringement of copyright, trademarks, or personality rights.
- No disruption of the Service (e.g., scraping, overload, or security attacks).

6. Paid Plans & Subscriptions
If you purchase a paid plan, billing is handled by our payment provider Stripe. Subscriptions typically renew automatically until canceled. Details on term, cancellation, and billing cycles are shown during checkout.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation (e.g., due to maintenance, updates, or third-party outages).
8. Termination, Suspension, Removal
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend access or remove content if we reasonably suspect a violation of these terms or if required for legal reasons.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
